Typeset French letters

frletter is a small class for typesetting letters in France. Note that no assumption is made about the language used. This class was created by applying cosmetic changes to the minimalist beletter class, itself a direct descendant of the letter class. Please consider that the author of frletter is neither a French native, nor a LaTeX expert. He adapted the beletter class according to what he understands as French conventions for writing letters.

Since this class is essentially the same as the base letter.cls, it was pretty trivial to create a layout file. For further information: CreatingLayouts#quick.

LyX includes the layout and template file since version 1.6.8.

The template has the French language selected. Please note that in order to have a Subject line you need a hacked usage of the "Opening" environment (see the template).
