Lettre

Typeset French letters (Observatoire de Genève class)

I simply wanted to bring this to the attention of LyX users. For a long time I didn't know about this layout, so that I ended up modifying an existing and submitting to CTAN a "brand new" LaTeX class, frletter.

As from lyx-1.6.8, a layout (lettre.layout) and template (lettre.lyx) for the lettre.cls class have been added to the LyX distribution. The layout replaces these old layouts which must be outdated, as it is stated there.

The lettre class should have come with your TeX distribution (if you use, say, TeXLive 2010).
