The LyX wiki engine has been upgraded

The software that runs the LyX wiki site, the so called wiki engine has been upgraded from version 0.6 to 2.1 (the current exact version is actually pmwiki-2.3.31).

In between these versions, the markup has changed substantially. The old wiki pages have been ported, but minor errors may remain. If that is the case, send a message to the users' list or to the documentation list.

Here is a list of some of the changes:

Links should now be written with double square brackets [[...]], i.e. creating a link to this page should be done as follows:

Please note that so called WikiWords will be depreceated in the future. This means that a word such as LyX no longer automatically will become a link. Instead, you have to write [[LyX]].
