This site uses a recipe called Cookbook:FilesNotify, which monitors changes to files in uploads:./.

The recipe works as follows:

Once a day it generates a list of files in uploads/
That list is compared to previous lists, and if there is a difference it is posted here. (See below for an example).
The logs with lists of files are rotated, and can be found in
/home/lyx/www/pmwiki/wiki.d/files/

on aussie.lyx.org.

It is currently not possible to browse these files, although I could enable that if it is so desired.

Here is an example of what we get from the script:

On Tue, 6 Feb 2007, Apache wrote:

       Difference of file listing:
       5c5
       < 2007-02-06 09:21  10        uploads/SiteTest/aFile.txt
       ---
       > 2003-11-22 01:02  10        uploads/SiteTest/aFile.txt

This means that the file 'uploads/SiteTest/aFile.txt' was modified somehow on 2007-02-06, 09:21 (it's CET). In this case, it was me that touched that particular file in order to produce the message.
