How to insert raw TeX code into Lyx.

Copy TeX Code from Application

Copy the TeX code onto your clipboard. If you are using the tex() function in Maxima you will need to remove any $$ quotes.

Enter Math box in Lyx and paste raw TeX

Press Control-M to enter Math mode in LyX. Paste code into box.

Press Control-L to enter in LaTeX mode (ERT) in LyX.
