Logotype

About the LyX logo and some variants of it.

You can add the Lyx logo to your document by adding the following latex command to your latex preamble in /document/settings/Latex Preamble:

\providecommand{\LyX}{L\kern-.1667em\lower.25em\hbox{Y}\kern-.125emX\@}

Then, anytime you insert the tex code "\LyX" in you document, the LyX logo will be produced.

Feel free to upload variants of the LyX logotype to LyX/Logotype. The logotypes are stored in uploads:/LyX/Logotype/. If you upload several logotypes, it might be an idea to put them in a separate folder, e.g. as Rex has done: uploads:/LyX/Logotype/Rex_Eastbourne/.
